What’s New

We’ve been really busy behind the scenes here at SoonlyWeds HQ recently, I’m hoping you noticed some of the changes. If not let’s have a look what has changed – we think you’ll like it.

The first radical change is the vendor profiles, say bye-bye to the old style pop up windows and say hello to the new and clean profile page! This means that each vendor has their own dedicated page. We’ve allowed more images to be uploaded, bigger ones too! So if you’re a vendor reading this – go and update your profiles 🙂 Take a look at a great example of one here: Classic Wedding Cars Cheshire. But the best thing of all, we have a new and shiny review system – how cool is that? Whether your business needs reviewing or you want to leave a review, have a look. Seriously, it’s so easy to do.

Another big change is the vendor search. It’s now much more mobile friendly and you can now use the backwards and forwards buttons, in case you need to. The profiles are displayed in mini form first, helping create a picture of the business before seeing their full profile. We love it and hope you do too. At a glance, you can see much more. We’ve also introduced “Vendor of the Month” – as the name suggests we’ll pick a vendor that catches our eye and stands out from the crowd.

There are lots of new pages around the site too. Each category now has its own page where you can learn more about that particular category and what it means for weddings, with top tips and an all important personal touch. On that page, you’ll find four featured vendors that we’ve hand-picked for each category! Be sure to take a look at though.

But we didn’t stop there. The styling and design of the website has had subtle tweaks which completely changes the feel of the experience – much cleaner and sleeker. It now looks as it should. Under the hood has been vastly improved too but I won’t bore you with the details. All you need to know is it works and loads faster, ideal!

We’re really pleased with the newly updated website, but as ever, it doesn’t stop there! We continue to improve the site on a daily basis and always value feedback on how we can improve or change things. Let us know how we are doing, we’d love to hear from you.
